These terms govern your use of the Tasbeeh Counter app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The app

Tasbeeh Counter is a dhikr counter and Quran reading app, offered free of charge. Your dhikrs, statistics and personal khatms are stored on your device; see the Privacy Policy for details.

2. Shared khatm groups

Shared khatm groups let you divide the 30 juz among people you know. Groups are not public: only someone who knows the 6-character join code can join. Groups are never listed and cannot be searched for.

When you join a group, two pieces of information are visible to other members:

• The group name, written by the person who created the group
• The name you use in the group — a nickname is fine, your real name is not required

These two fields are user-generated content seen by other people, and the rules below apply to them.

3. Content rules

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. No text you enter — a group name, a nickname, or a report description — may contain:

• Insults, profanity, threats, harassment or bullying
• Hate speech, or demeaning others by religion, sect, race, gender, origin or disability
• Obscene, sexual or violent expressions
• Encouragement of illegal activity
• Advertising, spam, scams or link spreading
• Impersonation of another person
• Personal details such as phone numbers or addresses, whether yours or someone else's
• Copyrighted material belonging to others

In short: this app is used for worship. Remember that the name you type is seen by everyone in the group, including members you have never met.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Every group screen has a “Report group” link at the bottom. If you see an inappropriate group name or nickname, report it there and add a short description if you wish. Reports are reviewed within 7 days at the latest.

Following a review we may:

• Remove the content or delete the group entirely
• Block the offending user's access to the shared khatm feature

In addition, the person who created a group can remove any member from the member list with “Remove”. The group’s join code cannot be changed, so a removed person who knows the code can join again. If a member is disruptive, the surest remedy is to delete the group, create a new one and report the person.

5. Identity

Shared khatm requires no account and no sign-in. The app creates an anonymous identity that belongs to your device only and is not tied to your name; your actions in a group are matched to it. If you delete the app or change devices, that identity is lost: you can no longer reach your groups or manage a group you created.

6. Your responsibility

• You are responsible for the content you write.
• Be careful whom you share a join code with; anyone holding it can join the group.
• Do not abuse the app, load it with automated tools, or attempt to reach other people's data.

7. Availability

The app is provided “as is” and is not guaranteed to run without interruption. Shared khatm requires an internet connection. We reserve the right to suspend access in case of a breach of these rules.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page; for significant changes we may also notify you in the app or in the store listing.
