This policy explains how the Zikirmatik app on Google Play handles data. By using the app, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

1. Summary

Your dhikr lists, folders, counter history, and settings are stored on your device.
Creating an account is not required.
App data is not included in Android system / Google automatic backup.
Internet may be used for Quran content, update notices, and seasonal content.
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent for debugging (Google Firebase Crashlytics).

2. Data stored on your device

The following are kept locally on your device:

Folders and dhikr entries, counter values, favorites
Daily statistics summaries and usage time
App settings (language, theme, reminder time, etc.)
Optional counter background images you choose

By default this data is not sent to our servers. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data may delete these records.

3. Internet use

The app may use an internet connection for:

Quran translation / content files
App update notices
Seasonal / special-day content

These requests are for delivering content, not for building marketing profiles.

4. Crash reports

When the app crashes, a crash report is sent via Google Firebase Crashlytics so we can find and fix the problem. The report includes information such as the device model, operating system version, and the technical details of the error; your dhikr entries, counters, and statistics are not included. Crash reports are used only to fix bugs; they are not used for advertising or profiling.

5. Permissions

Notifications: optional daily reminder
Vibration, sound, keep screen awake: in-app experience
Exact alarm (Android): may be requested so reminders can fire on time
Internet: for the content and notices above

6. Children

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

7. Updates

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. For important changes we may also use the Play Store listing or an in-app notice. Please check this page periodically.
